Gerry Guild is recognized nationally as an authority on bonds and portfolio strategy. He has been featured in numerous publications, including The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Financial World, Money, and Business Week. His TV appearances include Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, CNNfn, NBC, and Reuters.
A graduate of Brown University with a degree in economics, Gerry began his career on Wall Street in 1961. He served as the Chief Fixed Income Strategist and Director at Advest from 1984 to 2002.
Gerry is a Senior Analyst with the New York Society of Security Analysts covering fixed income analysis, microeconomics, portfolio strategy, and asset allocation. He has served as an Arbitrator for FINRA and the New York Stock Exchange since 1996 is an Adjunct Instructor for Fixed Income Securities at the New York University Finance Law and Taxation School of Continuing and Professional Studies. As well, Gerry is a contributing author for the book, "Expert Financial Planning," by Robert C. Arffa, M.D. and a Life Member of Fixed Income Analysts Society, Inc.
